Racist Sign Pops Up in Brookfield, Ohio Says 'Conquest Planet of the Apes, Obama and Oprah'

The racist signs continue to pop up all across the United States. The latest popped up in Brookfield, Ohio. Police Chief Dan Faustino says officers got calls about this sign, which says Conquest Planet of the Apes, Obama and Oprah. It was placed in this area of the square.

Faustino says he has no idea who put the sign there and says no one has called him complaining that the sign has been taken down."There are no political signs allowed by the Trustees on the center, obviously there is a freedom of speech issue, but you cannot put political signs on there, if they want to put something like this on their own property that's their own prerogative, he said . The chief tells us that this is the first time a sign like this one has surfaced in the township and he is hoping this is the last time.

As I have said repeatedly, people are free to disagree with Barack Obama and John McCain's positions, but to repeatedly make racist statements about them is really unconscionable and just stupid. The whole world is watching us during this process and to see Obama and other prominent blacks continually denigrated because of the color of our skin is simply just plain wrong and it harkens back to the days of Jim Crow. Just my thoughts, you be the judge....
