Adrienne LaFlamme, 60, and a Florida science teacher has been arrested after allegedly having sex with her 17-year-old student. This is just plain sick and nasty.

Investigators arrested Palm Bay resident Adrienne LaFlamme after being contacted by the boy's mother. They believe that LaFlamme and the boy had sex at least 15 times over a four-week period.

LaFlamme is also being charged with filing a false police report. Police say she had lent her car to the boy, but reported it stolen after learning that she was being investigated.

These teachers that prey upon their students need to be imprisoned for a long time and not just given a slap on the wrist. There have been so many instances in which the female teachers were given minimum jail sentences and even just straight probation. A message needs to be sent by the legal system that there will be zero-tolerance for this behavior. If this were a male teacher, he would be called a rapist and thrown in prison for a long time. This woman could have been this young man's grandmother. Excuse me while I throw up. This is just plain sick.

On a personal level, as a parent of two boys, I would be totally irrational in dealing with something of this magnitude and a beat-down would be in order for me. This latest incident is just plain sick and really disgusting. Just my thoughts, you be the judge.
